The last two days that I had off from work, I spent going west from the Chicagoland area. I decided to take the backroads from Minooka, into Starved Rock State Park. It was a fun time, I ventured aimlessly down country roads in the middle of farmer’s fields. I freaked out a few times when the asphalt road turned to gravel. Since I have a new car, I am worried about stone chips. Other than that it is refreshing going way out into the country.
