Remembering South Mountain

Tonight I had a few beers, and was remembering the time I spent living out in Surprise, Arizona. I moved there to be with a wonderful, compassionate and patient woman. The job that I had fell through, and I had to move back home in about three months. Even though I have been around for 37 years of life on this earth, and I see other people making large advances in their lives, my moving out to Arizona was my small attempt to try something big in my life. I failed, and am still small in life. However, I did try and failed. I would like to have been with this woman for a much longer time. I would have loved to work, live and be with this woman. However, I was too weak and now a days in this complicated life, things are hard to manage.
In order to move to a new place, things have to be in order. First off, you need bit of savings or a nest egg. Then you have to have a job lined up. I had neither. I wanted to be with this woman, and I tried. Anyway one time we went up to South Mountain at dusk to view the desert valley.
